Why We Run

The status quo isn't working.

Suggestions disappear into boxes. Tech policies stay stuck in 2010. Student data is sold to private equity firms. Leadership exists on paper and nowhere else.

VFB 2027 changes the formula. Every policy we push comes directly from what you tell us — no secret meetings, no guessing, just your voice turned into action.

100%
Student-sourced policies

The Problem

Suggestions ignored. Outdated tech. Student data owned by corporations. Leadership rewarded for optics, not outcomes.

The VFB Difference

Every policy is crowdsourced from the student body. Our platform is built in public, from your submissions.

Our Guarantee

We will never push a policy that hasn't been validated by you. Transparency isn't optional — it's how we operate.

Platform Pillars
Ideas Welcome
The 2027 Platform

Six pillars.
Zero vague promises.

These aren't talking points. They're the issues your classmates said matter most — built from two years of listening.

Digital Freedom

Updating archaic tech policies. Investigating data ownership (Civica → Blackstone). True 21st-century internet access for 21st-century learning.

Active Investigation

Direct Democracy

We don't guess what you want — we ask. Every policy comes from anonymous forms and open conversations. You're the platform, not the audience.

Open Source Policy

Privacy First

Protecting student data from corporate overreach. School surveillance used for safety — not data harvesting, behaviour tracking, or control.

Data Rights

FAQ

Answered straight.

How is VFB 2027 different from past campaigns?
We operate on an open-source policy model. Every decision is backed by data from student forms and polls. No secret meetings — what we campaign on is exactly what you told us to campaign on.
Can a student campaign actually change tech policies?
Yes — and we already have evidence. Coordinated, statistically-backed student demands are much harder to dismiss than individual complaints. The locker shelves were proof of concept. Tech is next.
What is the deal with Blackstone and DAYMAP?
DAYMAP is the school management system holding significant student data. The ownership chain goes from Civica to Blackstone — one of the world's largest private equity firms. We're investigating what this means for student data rights. Full report coming.
How do I join the VFB team?
Head to the Team Portal linked in the footer, or speak to Blayze directly. We need designers, organisers, researchers, and people who can talk to other students without it being weird.
What if VFB doesn't win the election?
We don't stop. The data, the platform, the relationships — none of that disappears because of an election result. We've been told no before. It didn't work then, and it won't work now.
