Why We Run
"For too long, student leadership has been a performance. A poster on a wall. A title without a plan. I am done watching it happen. VFB 2027 is not a personality — it's a framework built entirely around what you actually want."
Blayze Vercoe  ·  Founder

The Problem

Suggestions disappear. Tech policies stay outdated. Student data is sold to private equity. Leadership is rewarded for optics, not outcomes.

The VFB Difference

Every single policy we push is crowdsourced directly from the student body. No secret agendas. Our entire platform is built in public.

Our Guarantee

We will never push a policy that hasn't been validated by you. Transparency isn't an option — it's our operating system, and it doesn't have an off switch.

Core Platform Pillars
Ideas Welcome
The 2027 Platform

Six pillars.
Zero vague promises.

These aren't talking points. They are the issues your classmates said matter most — developed over two years of listening, collecting, and pushing.

Digital Freedom

Updating archaic tech policies and investigating the ownership chain behind our school systems — Civica to Blackstone to wherever the money goes. We believe in true 21st-century internet access for 21st-century learning.

Active Investigation

Direct Democracy

We don't guess what you want. We ask. Every single policy we push comes from anonymous forms and open conversations — not from what we personally think sounds good. You're the platform, not just the audience.

Open Source Policy

Privacy First

Protecting student data from corporate overreach. Ensuring that school surveillance software and CCTV are used exclusively for genuine safety — not data harvesting, behaviour tracking, or institutional control.

Data Rights

Better Amenities

Higher quality canteen options at fair prices. We already secured the locker shelves — that was just round one. Next is the food, the common areas, the spaces where you actually spend your day.

Already Winning

Future Proofing

Preparing the school for 2027 and beyond. We are laying the groundwork right now — systems, policies, digital infrastructure — so that our Senior year isn't just good, it's the undisputed standard.

Long Term Play
Execution Roadmap

The master plan.

Great ideas need relentless execution. Here is how we go from campaign to reality — phase by phase, in public.

01
Phase One

Data Gathering

Right now. We are collecting anonymous feedback from every year level, running polls, and building the most comprehensive map of what students actually want ever attempted at this school.

Currently Active
02
Phase Two

Policy Drafting

We compile your submissions into formal, undeniable written proposals. We investigate tech contracts, school budgets, and administration priorities to make sure our demands are airtight and impossible to sidestep.

Pending Election
03
Phase Three

Aggressive Execution

Upon taking office for the 2027 term, we present our full mandate — backed by student data — to administration and push relentlessly until every single item is addressed, whether the answer is yes or a formal explanation of why not.

Post-Election

Track Record

Actions speak louder.

This isn't a first campaign. It's the continuation of something that's been quietly proving itself since 2024.

What the school says.

★★★★★

"Finally a campaign that actually asks what we want instead of just putting up posters. The digital privacy policy is something I've never heard any other candidate talk about."

"Blayze got us the lockers when literally nobody else was talking about it. If he says he'll fix the tech policies, I believe him. That's my vote."

★★★★★

"The transparency is insane. No other leadership team has ever laid out a step-by-step roadmap like this. It feels like a proper political campaign — not a school one."

"The canteen thing is huge for us. A lot of us can't afford the prices and nobody's ever said anything about it officially. VFB is the first campaign to actually name it."

"I submitted an idea through the form and it ended up in the platform document. That's never happened with any other campaign. My opinion actually counted."

FAQ

Answered straight.

How is VFB 2027 different from the previous campaign?
We operate entirely on an open-source policy model. Every decision is backed by data collected directly from students via forms, polls, and conversations. There are no secret meetings — what we campaign on is exactly what you told us to campaign on.
Can a student campaign actually change tech policies?
Yes — and we already have evidence. By presenting coordinated, statistically-backed student demands rather than individual opinions, we make it extremely hard for administration to dismiss concerns. The locker shelves were proof of concept. Tech is next.
What is the deal with Blackstone and DAYMAP?
DAYMAP is the school management system that holds significant amounts of student data. The ownership chain goes from the local provider Civica to Blackstone, one of the world's largest private equity firms. We are investigating what this means for student data rights, retention policies, and what students and parents can request under privacy law. Full report coming.
How do I join the VFB team?
We are always looking for driven, committed students. Access the Team Portal linked in the nav — or speak to Blayze directly. We especially need people with skills in design, organisation, research, and the ability to talk to other students without it being weird.
What happens if VFB doesn't win the election?
We don't stop. The data we've collected, the platform we've built, and the relationships we've formed don't disappear because of an election result. If we don't win, we publish our full research report publicly and continue advocating. We've been told no before. It didn't work then, and it won't work now.
Stand With Us

When we fight,
we win.

We have the track record. We have the platform. We have the team. Now we need your voice to make 2027 absolutely undeniable.
